Last updated: October 12, 2026
Technovix Inc. is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you interact with our website, cloud platform, and edge infrastructure. This policy is designed to comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and aligns with CyberSecure Canada baseline controls.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information necessary to provide enterprise industrial intelligence and manage our B2B relationships.
- Account and Contact Information: Name, business email, phone number, job title, and company details provided during onboarding, billing, or support requests.
- System and Telemetry Data: Machine logs, protocol payloads (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT), edge gateway status, IP addresses, and environmental sensor data routed through our architecture.
- Usage Data: Interactions with the Technovix Core dashboard, queries submitted to the Virtual Engineer, and alert routing preferences.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To deploy, operate, and maintain the Technovix Core and Edge architectures.
- To route real-time diagnostic alerts and system notifications to authorized personnel.
- To provide localized edge computing and automated digital twin modeling.
- To process billing and enforce our Gateway-as-a-Service agreements.
- To anonymize and aggregate time-series data for the continuous improvement of our predictive machine learning algorithms.
3. Data Sovereignty and Storage
Technovix is engineered for strict data sovereignty.
- Localization: Client operational data and cloud analytics are securely hosted on Canadian-domiciled infrastructure.
- Edge Processing: Certain data processed by Technovix Edge gateways is evaluated locally on-premises and buffered during network outages, ensuring sensitive threshold logic remains within your physical facility.
- Retention: We retain active account data and unlimited cold storage archives for the duration of your service agreement, or as required to fulfill legal obligations.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal or operational data to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: With trusted cloud hosting and cybersecurity partners who are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of the data.
- Integration Partners: When you explicitly authorize integrations with third-party CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) or enterprise APIs.
- Legal Compliance: If required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
5. Data Security
We employ enterprise-grade, Zero-Trust security measures to protect your information. This includes End-to-End TLS 1.2+ encryption for data in transit, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for system dashboards, and adherence to CyberSecure Canada architectural standards. However, no internet-transmitted operational technology network is entirely immune to intrusion, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights
Under PIPEDA, you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate data, or request the deletion of your personal contact data, subject to technical and legal constraints regarding historical industrial logs.
